Stock Manager Model
Channel Trend’s final model is its Stock Manager Model. This model combines the rankings on stocks from the Price Projector Model and the Stock Valuator Model to arrive at a ranking of overall attractiveness based both on price behavior information and on fundamental valuation information.
Channel Trend covers approximately 4200 U.S. stocks. These stocks are divided into two groups. A Primary Population is comprised of nearly 1600 larger stocks. We run all of our models on this population. Our Secondary Population is comprised of approximately 2600 smaller stocks. We run only our Price Projector Model on stocks in this population because information needed to run the Stock Valuator Model and the Risk Model on the small stocks in the Secondary Population is often incomplete or unavailable. The Price Projector Model provides significant insights into the future performance of stocks. As such, the Price Projector Model provides a powerful and unique way to assess smaller stocks that often have little conventional analytical coverage. See Historical Performance of this model.
